Sanctity of Human Life

Sanctity of Human Life

2018 National Sanctity of Human Life is Sunday, January 21!

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued a proclamation designating January 22 as the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day. It commemorates the anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade (January 22, 1973) that legalized abortion on demand in all 50 states.  Since then, approximately 57 million lives have been lost to abortion.

Churches and individuals around the United States use the day to celebrate God's gift of life, commemorate the many lives lost to abortion, and commit themselves to protecting human life at every stage.

Mid Cities Pregnancy Center firmly believes what God's Word says: "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." Psalm 139:13. We believe life is a precious gift from God and value every life, born and unborn.  We work to strengthen families by offering HOPE and HELP to those affected by unplanned pregnancy and preserve LIFE for generations to come.
